Xbox 360 stuck on update loop

My Xbox 360 is stuck on a update loop. Every time I switch on the console, it shows me that there is an update but when I select "A" to update, it just goes back to the dashboard and does not update. Due to this issue, My console does not sign into Xbox Live.

I am not able to play any games and most importantly I am not able to do my Yoga and Fitness programs.

Anyone else had this issue? What is the solution to this issue?
