So I came across this article about Sea Of Thieves. And its extremely eye opening.

If you ever wondered how Rare got the ocean to behave and look so realistic, so far ahead of anything before in video games? Well your Xbox isn't calculating it at all. It's done entirely in cloud servers. Even on PC. The water behaves so realistically and even has different hues for example looking through the top of a wave to the moonlight behind it. It's breathtakingly beautiful.

Also the character creation that no 2 pirates will look the same goes even further. Pirates age. And the physically change on accordance.

Here is the article. Sea Of Thieves is a true technical marvel. And along with Crackdown 3 this year is only possible in its current technical achievement through the extra processing power Cloud Processing provides. And it works. As its being doing this in every beta test.

Avast ye! Microsoft are finally showing the Power of the Cloud - GameOnDaily
