Elite Controller Gone

My Xbox Elite Controller right trigger stop broke. It no longer stops short. I went to Best Buy to replace it with the insurance and they did not have one. The closest store that had one was 2 hours away. Target, Walmart, and Gamestop didn't have any. Even Amazon is out. I had to take store credit and use a regular controller, I hate it.

Has Microsoft stop making these? Is there a new controller coming? Is this another MS failure to support a good product like they did to the Windows Phone?

A new one is supposed to be coming (at e3 I would imagine). There were leaked photos on Windows Central a while ago. That is why the original elite controller is discontinued.

Yeah, I love my elite controller too. Going back to the standard controller feels weird.
