    I don't know when exactly this happened but earlier today upon checking stats for nerds on a video in the YouTube app. The audio and video tags rendered OPUS and Vp9 codecs. It used to only support 128kbps AAC. This is good news because, as a YouTube premium user I'm no longer annoyed when watching music videos because I was able to tell the difference.
