Can an expert tell me what is the maximum number of contacts that can be stored on the Sony Xperia 1?I currently have about 25000 contacts and my several months HTC Touch Cruise is refusing to sync with my desktop with the mobile device displaying insufficient memory messages. I would like to know before I purchase whether I would encounter similar problems with the Sony Xperia 1. Many thanks.Alex.

25,000 contacts? What did you just open up the phone book and start Typing?LOL. IMHO if you just got a text or call from just 1 % of your contacts twice a week you would never not be on the phone, You know there is a delete button on both your phone and your computer.

If you use a smartphone for business its not unreasonable to load up a large list of potential contacts - your entire work telephone directory, all your companies customers, or suppliers. You don't need to only have your drinking buddies on there you know!

On the other hand, alexng could be the world's most popular person for all I know! :D

(731 contacts on my phone, and I doubt I've ever called 10% of them!)

    Hi alexng,

25000 contacts at 1000 bytes each is 25 MB. It certainly fit in the internal Flash RAM 400MB or in the microSD up 16 GB.

I think updating and syncing could be a long long time.

Do you have to carry with you ALL OF THEM?
