Microsoft - Fix this. Have some people think this through, it's no wonder you're losing the phone race - you MUST expand your audience and this limitation is not helping your cause. Neither iPhone nor Google/Android has this limitation. My family has 4 smartphones, 3 iPhones, 1 Windows phone, one child has an iPhone, one child has a Windows phone. I spent 10 years working on products at Microsoft and this is embarrassing. Don't hide behind some government COPPA law. Here's two ways you fix it (free of charge).
1) Add a parent control to override and allow the child to use it.
or
2) don't collect the data on the child and let the child suffer from a lesser "learned" cortana.
or soon this family will have 4 iPhones... Which is too bad because I really was hoping to go to 2 and 2 or 3 and 2 Windows/iPhone ratio.
