Windows 8.1 update camera issue - Lumia 720

So I updated my OS from windows 8 to 8.1 a week ago and couldnt have been happier with it. However today a new update (8.10.14157.200) was pushed and I happily installed it. Since then my camera is giving me issues listed below:

1. Every time I use lock key to unlock my phone, rather than the start menu it goes into camera. (small nanosec vibration before the app opens)
2. My camera key doesn't seem to work. To click pics or videos I have to use the touch screen option.

Tried soft resetting my phone a couple of times (by pressing down and lock key), which sometimes seems to help only for the issue to re-occur. And now it has stopped being of use as well.

Please help!!

My 720 it's up to date with developer preview and I didn't see any problems with the camera. It's pretty much the same as it was in WP8.
Probably just a hard reset will solve it.

So here's my update. I tried hard reset... it did help kill the connection between lockscreen and the camera. However now the camera starts randomly... and also clicks pics... while i am writing mails, surfing net or while it is just lying there. I read a lot about issues with developer update and i have now uninstalled the grd update using Nokia Software recovery tool. Took a good two three hours for the entire process... My phone has not started the camera app yet (from past 10 mins). hopefully will not... still under testing if this works permanently or not...

Will never take the developer unstable updates now... patience is a virtue!!
