Nokia Lumia 930 not showing 4g Under Highest Connection speed

Hi,
I am from sri lanka.
I just bought a nokia lumia 930.
However i am not able to select 4G as the only available options are 2G and 3G in the settings.

OS Version : 8.10.12397.895
Firmware Revision Number : 02061.00066.14252.51001
Hardware Revision Number : 2.0.0.2
Radio Software version : 201c110.00019.0001

What could be the issue ?

Are you using a 4G SIM?

Yes. I double checked with the carrier as well and double checked the SIM on an iPhone as well.

I have heard that Nokia has different firmware versions for different countries. Is there a way to check from the number which country it is meant for ?
I checked the India site and it didn't list 4G bands on the spec for Nokia lumia 930.
However Nokia has been offering 4G in sri Lanka with It's previous phones.
So i have a sneaking feeling that this has the indian version on it.
