Nokia Lumia Icon (929) Rapid Battery Drain

I've been experiencing Rapid Battery drain on my lumia icon, Just browsing the internet can drain up to 35% per hour! I've read other peoples reviews and they say the Battery is Great. It also becomes Very hot when watching Video or playing Games. I hope I do not have a Defective Device. I would Greatly Appreciate any insight that Anyone might have, Thanks in advance.

I'm getting the same issue. I have battery saver enabled, and this thing just chews up my battery. I'm on the latest firmware, etc. Running developer preview....

I'm done a factory rest as well....no luck. I'm also tried removing apps I don't use, and still the battery life is awful.

Any fix?

Did you try turning off Wi-Fi? If I don't turn mine off manually, ill lose 40% of my battery in a couple hours.

I had this issue a week ago, i did a soft reset many many times, hard reset and i even flashed the phone with a new WP package. IT DIDN'T WORK
So do this:

Drain your battery completely
Charge to 100%
Drain it again
Charge to 100% but this time leave on charge after it reaches 100% for about 5~7 hours.
Repeat the last step for 2 or 3 charge cycles.

This helped me get my normal battery life back again
