How do I open downloaded/save documents (WP8.1)?

I'm on a website, I click on a link to a .doc file. I get a pop-up asking whether I want to open or save. I choose save, it saves in Downloads. I can now tap on the file to open it. Awesome. How can I open it later, though? It doesn't appear anywhere in Office.

Check in recent tab in office, I am sure it will be there and from there also you can share

Download the Files app to your phone or any other preferred file manager. You can open it from there under downloads. Moving your docs into the documents folder will make them appear in office.
