Does Lumia 820 support 4g or not?

i have RM-825 lumia 820 updated to lumia cyan, recently LTE launched in our country . i have 4G sim card and my network provides LTE services but i can not see 4G option in my phone, it shows only 2G and 3G. whereas my mobile specifications says that it supports LTE.

The LTE bands might not lineup between the carrier and the phone.

The phone does indeed have LTE onboard, however, its not guaranteed to work on all carriers in all regions.

same is the case with me, operator using LTE band in 1800MHZ frequency band and this band is supportive with Lumia 820 but 4G is not working on mobile.i read on other forums that we need to change our ROM but which ROM?

I personally doubt changing the ROM will change LTE or not, since it should work if it can, and just not if it cant.

My L820 has 4G (UK - O2) still on DP Black though - no updates in sight yet!
