Why verification on WhatsApp failed?

I reset my lumia 925. everything is ok except my whatsapp. After i install it and put my phone number (correctly) it says to me: could not connect to whatsapp. please check your network settings and try again later. ( my internet settings it's fine both wifi and data) i tried to reinstall it... nothing. i think that whatsapp's server find my number "logged in" as it was after reset.... how can i "log off"....and log in from my "new phone" (after reset...) (sorry for bad english)
