How do you debrand an unlocked Verizon HTC 8x?

how do you debrand an unlocked verizon htc 8x

I need to use the MMS and internet sharing on my unlocked HTC 8x but I guess Verizon disabled this feature when you use another carrier. I figured that the only way to do it is to debrand Verizon on its firmware. Anyone please share if you have successfully done this. Thank you
