What is there to purchase in Microsoft other than apps/games/music?

Windows Phone Wallet - Microsoft Account

So I currently have a balance of $9.08 in my Microsoft account. Besides using those funds to purchase apps/games/music for my phone is there anywhere else I can use the funds? I tried to buy an Xbox gift card on the Microsoft store but it doesn't recognize the balance I have in my Microsoft account. Thanks

That balance also works on the Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 Stores.

Its used for apps, games, music and videos. You could use it to rent an HD movie in the VIDEO app or Xbox. And youre not limited to just the phone. You can purchase WIndows 8.1 PC apps too
