Can we fix whatsapp crash on Lumia 610?

Well is there a way at all? may be by going back to 7.5? or is it possible to install a version of app thats some 4-5months old-which dint crash so madly!!
Open to any suggestion infact

Agree its quite an old model, but I need to live with it for few more months.

Support for Windows Phone 7 (7.0, 7.5, 7.8) has ended last year (September, if I remember correctly, just a few days before or after the L1020 reached EOL), Hence it would be difficult to address your issue. Rolling back to 7.5 might not be easy to perform because that OS version may no longer be available for download from the servers (but you may try to).

Furthermore, the issue may not be with the OS version but rather with the app itself - numerous users have reported bugs with WhatsApp even in Windows Phone 8. The downside is that updates will be pushed to the Windows Phone 8 version of WhatsApp but unlikely to the Windows Phone 7 version.

Same error here on a Lumia 925. Any suggestion? Im kind of desperate! How is this possible?
