Why are WhatsApp photos not showing? [Lumia 520]

my whats app photos are not visible in photos in the my windows 520.. i tryied format my memory card also.. can any one tell me the solutions

They are downloaded to a folder named as 'WhatsApp'. If it is not there, check if the images have been downloaded completely. I am not sure how it works with a memory card, if there is an option in WhatsApp to save the images to memory card, check that too.
