How did I get denim ?

I had a weird night last night with my 630.In an effort to get gdr2,I went on slow ring on insider app.The phone restarted and I panicked(didn't want w10)I uninstalled the insider app.Then soon after my phone started to download an update.after about 30 mins,update ready,w10tp.I didn't know what to do,so I did a hard reset to try and and avoid the install.

My phone went back to 8.1,then this morning I woke up to the phone being updated to denim.Ive been on PFD for some time,but didn't enroll after the reset.My carrier hasn't released denim for my device yet.

How did I end up with real denim? When I enroll in pfd now,it says in on cyan,yet it has no updates for me.Im not sure what's happened. It says in denim ,windows 8.1 update and firmware matches that of denim on Microsoft's denim page

I think Denim may have been pushed to some phones as an on-the-way update like Update 2 was.

Check to see if you have an EQ under audio in settings.

No,all I have in there is flip to silence, I'm not even enrolled on PFD and should be on cyan

then the Denim alert was merely a well known bug.
