[L730] Giving low battery back up after full charge and after just a 3 days use?

i got a new lumia 730 just three days ago from flipkart, i installed the denim 8.1 update and its up to date as of now...however the battery gives my a backup which is less than it was on the first two days...and its deteriorating quickly.
i have tried a lot of stuff like mentioned on the threads to extend the back up of the battery still it seems not to be working...
will hard reset resolve the issue as soft reset hasnt work either.

Nahhh.. I think he framed the question incorrect...
On all three days.. He charged up his device to a 100% and its been depleting each day quicker than it had been the previous..
Help him now..

Either you're not paying attention to how frequently you're using your phone, knowing how much features/functions are on, or how how many background tasks are on.

Check those things. Cut off any background operations you're not using daily and features too. Check your mail syncing. If you use apps like FB/Whatsapp/etc and get alot of notifications, that can hurt your battery life too.

If none of those work, a hard reset is the last alternative.
