Unable to connect to 3g network

I have working 3G sim using Lumia 720. But I am not able to connect to 3G network. Phone will connect to 2G all the time. Have worked many things even hard reset but still the problem exists.

When I insert the same sim to Android phone 3G works like a charm!!!! Any suggestions??!!!

Check the official specifications of your L720 from the Microsoft website and take note of the cellular band frequencies your phone has. Then, check the cellular band frequencies available from your mobile service provider. Chances are that there is some incompatibility between those two.

There has been a similar issue posted in the fora, and it turned out that the user's mobile service provider was broadcasting at frequencies which the user's phone doesn't support.
