Why does Spotify hang on 0% when downloading a playlist?

When downloading a playlist for offline playing, Spotify just hangs there on 0%. Tried reinstalling, which works temporarily, I'm definitely online on WiFi, tried restarting phone, tried several playlists. Does anyone else have this problem?

Phone? OS version? Have you tried a clean sweep? (uninstall, clear temporary files in Storage Sense, soft reset and then reinstall)
