Does the on screen keyboard pop up in the desktop with Windows 10 tablet mode?

In Windows 8.1 on a tablet on the desktop you have to click on the on screen keyboard, it doesn't come up automatically when tapping in the address bar of a browser. Does it come up automatically in Windows 10? I hope that is one of the things that has changed.
