Will Miracast work with my phone?

Hello,

I have a Lumia 535 running Windows 8.1 and Lumia Denim. I have recently purchased a TV, which has a USB port, and I was wondering if Miracast will work?

The TV doesn't have WiFi, I don't know if this matters.

If you have any more questions, then please ask.

If your TV hasn't WiFi then it won't work, not with your Lumia or any device!

You could put a miracast dongle In your TV, then it will work.

I was wondering the same think so thanks eusty, but does your TV have to have either a WiFi dongle or built in WiFi or, will it work just with the Miracast dongle?

Not if you use the dongle.
