Officila 8.1 update 2 release ?

Anybody have any idea when does the update gdr2 launches to all 8.1 phones, it's been such a long time, windows 10 coming in few months to the phones, isn't it about time since we got gdr2?

It is very unlikely that GRD2 will come to other Lumia devices. (no word of Microsoft at all about further releases of GRD2)
It will probably be part of W10 so Microsoft (and carriers) can save time because GDR2 is not that "important".

If you enroll in technical preview I think it will be installed. At least that's what happened for me. First 8.1 update 2. Then wp10. Enroll check for update. Press details see if its 8.1 update 2. If it is the install and uncheck automatic update.

That "trick" does not work anymore from build 10136 onwards.

Maybe they are directly going to update devices to windows 10 from September onwards
