Viber won't open in my desktop

I installed viber on my desktop computer this month. It runs smoothly and I loved it. But yesterday, it says it is not connected to the internet. So I tried browsing the net and it's fine. So I tried uninstalling and re-installing it. I put the activation code and I know it's correct but it doesn't open. What to do? Help me please. I use it all the time to message my family.
