Windows Central Question

I want to enable the search box- I actually like it. I right click on the taskbar, click cortana, but there's no option for showing the search box on the taskbar! Only "hidden" or "Show cortana icon." What can I do? I don't know what build i'm on, but I did get some updates recently. One of them said it was for the "Out of Box Experience" in Win10. Does that mean they removed the search box? Couldn't figure out what the other one was for, but the updates are KB3074678 and KB3074686 . I'm also in Guatemala, and got the update here. I'm pretty sure my reigon is set to the US though, and cortana still works. Anything I can do?

Ok...just figured out why it's now showing for us! See below from another thread...

For your Taskbar settings, you have "Use small taskbar buttons" checked. Right click on the taskbar, select properties, and uncheck that box, and you will make the search box option appear. It's incompatible with the smaller taskbar height.

Thanks, Techno-guy for doing the search and finding that. I'm afraid I'm a bit late to the party to offer the same help.
