Show Seconds in System Clock not working after update KB5027231

I installed the KB5027231 update this morning. It is reported to restore the ability to show seconds in system clock by way of the taskbar settings page. I still do not have that ability. Also, the registry settings I used to restore that ability no longer work after the update.

Update: It turns out one must go to Settings and Windows Update and check the box that says "Get the latest updates as soon as they're available". Check for updates and you will get a notice that a system update has been installed. Restart and you now have the option to show seconds in the system clock under taskbar settings.
