The new update locked me out of my laptop as it has been about 2 years since I had used anything but my fingerprint scanner to login to my account. I have an hp envy laptop and the update got rid of my stored fingerprints. It also screwed up a lot of things because the 8.1 never properly updated, so issues became compounded with the 10 update. This made it so that changing my Microsoft Account password does nothing and the administrator account has issues.Why was there no warning that the fingerprint scanner data gets deleted in the update to Windows 10? Has anyone else had this issue?
