How can I remove Windows 10 from my updates?

I am completely content with Windows 7. What if you have followed all the step to "unreserve"Windows 10? That is, clicked the Windows box and Cancel the Reservation, the cancellation is then confirmed. I uninstalled the R3035583 update - it has since returned to my "Important Updates". The Windows 10 remains in my Updates and begins to download even when I do not check it or hide it! The only option I have is to opt out of all future update.s When will this be repaired?

You will still need to "hide" the update.

Start by turning off automatic install of important updates. Then, check for updates to get the offending update in the list again. Now you can select the update and "hide" it so that it won't download, and it won't be installed. If you ever decide to upgrade within the year, you can just "show hidden updates" and get it downloaded.

Be sure to turn automatic updates on again after hiding this particular update.
