IS HP Elite Pad compatible with Windows 10?

I reserved Windows 10 for HP Elite Pad with Windows 8.1 OS. However it now says Windows 10 can not be used as the a new graphics card is necessary. On the other hand when I try to download Windows 8.1 updates, Windows 10 download begins. How to stop this? Pinaki
