Why won't Windows 10 allows me to sync a .edu gmail account?

[Windows Central Question]

How can I be allowed to add my .edu email, which is through gmail. I tried clicking on the google option but i get the message "We can't connect to that service right now" and then an error code shows up.
Any ideas would be great! Thank you!

Omg! I just tried last night and thought it was me. Hopefully someone knows. Keeps saying My info is wrong b but I know it's right.

Have you tried inputting the server settings manually? I tried setting up my school's email using the Outlook protocols, but it didn't work. Had to use Exchange.
