How can I get the taskbar to auto hide?

[Windows Central Question]

Taskbar is not auto hiding

Since installing Win10, the taskbar no longer Auto Hides, even when I recheck & reapply.
Also the Icons in the lower right corner of the Taskbar are no longer highlighted when I hold the Cursor over them.

Any Ideas,

Hi there,
I have exactly the same problem with auto-hide taskbar under Windows 10 pro on my HP laptop, since I upgraded last month.
Just doesn't function anymore since the Win7 --> Win10 upgrade
Please help.
