Why is a program I have been able to use suddenly unavailable?

Windows Central Question

I installed a game 3 days ago and have been able to fully play it with no problems. This morning I came in an the icon has disappeared and when I tried to find it it is now listed as unavailable. Why? And how can I fix this?
