Is there a fix for having to restart the computer each each time for internet connection?

I use an Acer Aspire X3990 desktop computer connected to the Gilat SkyEdge II modem which links to the satellite dish outside. In Windows 7, the link worked first time every time but in Windows 10, it requires a constant restart each time I boot up to get internet connection. I have tried reset and other "fixes" but nothing works, other than restart.
