I was told that T-Mobile no longer offers Windows phones. Is that true?

It's true. Sorry. They had the 640 for like 2 months and then killed it. You can buy a 435 from Walmart though, but that's a downgrade. It's also out of stock at Walmart too.

You can still find T-mobile 640s at Walmart, they've been marked down to $40 the last time I checked. Might have to search for them, though. Not every store even carried them.

The 950/XL work on T-mobile, though.

I think you mixed it up for the at&t and t-mobile versions. At&t one is marked down and can be found there but the t-mobile one has been out of stock for a while there.
