I don't have a cursor or a mouse

Hi smart computer peeps. I'm using my phone to write this as my toshiba satellite laptop has lost its cursor due to my cat sitting on it. I don't have a mouse nor a clue which button to push to fix it. HELP!!!!

Sounds like you disabled your touchpad.. There's usually a shortcut on a notebook's keyboard to quickly enable/disable it. Look at the F-keys on top of your keyboard. There should be symbols on them. One should be a rectangle with a finger or a hand pointing at it. Now press and hold the FN key on your keyboard and press the aforementioned F-key additionally.
