950XL International Variations

I have an original AT&T branded Lumia 1520 as well as a Lumia 1520.3 and really like both. Both are still running WP8.1 Denim

Been looking at the 950XL although I can't really find an actual reason to buy one (yet) since there isn't anything wrong with my 1520s.

The reason I have the original and the 1520.3 is that my original AT&T phone was temporarily stolen. While researching a replacement here, I learned 1520.3 had the wireless charging I liked with my 920 and missed with my AT&T 1520.
So, I bought the 1520.3 on eBay and got a pretty good deal on it (relatively speaking).

Anyway, having learned from that experience, in advance of buying a 950XL (assuming I do), I'm wondering of anybody knows or can point me to a resource detailing any differences/advantages in the other international versions (if any).

Also, as a side question, is the wireless charging on the 950XL using the same method as the original 920 and 1520.3? (will it work on my existing charging stand?)

Can't tell anything about the differences in international version of the device, but about the wireless charging:

it's still using the QI wireless charging standard, but the charging coil in the backplate of the device is slightly higher located than it is in the 1520 or 920, which is the reason why it won't work with the CR200 wireless car charger or a couple of other charging stands. There are workarounds for some though.

there are two variants on the 950XL

RM-1085 is the single sim model
RM-1116 is the dual sim model

akaik, the only differences are the firmware on the device and product codes

example. the product code of the RM-1116 sold in Canada is 059X5B5 (the RM-1116 sold in the United States may have the same PC) , the RM-1116 sold in France is 059X4S4 and the RM-1116 sold in Switzerland is 059X4W5. All 3 are unlocked and unbranded.

But a follow up.
I'd assume there would be some radio differences, based on the geographic origins (designated by the Product codes) but does the Dual Sim version have additional radio (bands) of coverage for different geographical areas?

Or why else the dual sim?
I'm a bit confused by the functionality of / reason for the dual sim.
Or maybe is it that all phones have the same radios but the firmware allows access to them?
