ATT Lumina 635 won't update (I've quit ATT service)

[Windows Central Question]

I have an unlocked ATT Lumina 635 running Windows 10 preview. I want to upgrade it to Windows 10 release.

I dropped my ATT service and now use a third world carrier.

When I try to do a Settings/SystemUpdate, no luck.

Is there any way to use a web browser (or alternate) to get Windows 10 release onto my phone?

I don't think at&t has released it yet, so keep waiting.

It doesn't matter what SIM you put in or if you run no SIM at all. Your upgrade will need to be pushed by AT&T for a device with their branding.
