Can't delete offline maps

I'm running windows 10 which has taken up so much space I have to delete my offline map which is located on the phone and not the sd card. Well as usual with WM10 the simple things don't work. The map just sits there and does nothing. It shouldn't take 2 hours to uninstall 4.5gb. The Map app of course van not be deleted. I uninstalled the Here Map app but it didn't help. I've soft booted the phone three times also. I need the space now. So many functions on the phone do not work since I loaded WM10 that I'm considering going back to android. Please help. Running Nokia 1520. Thanks

You should realy try a clean install. Factory reset, and dont use the backup option from.wp 8.1. Just start fresh
