W10M upgrade....

Hi everyone! Glad to have the update eventually. At long last, the improvements we've been waiting for is finally here.

Tried to download the update but I've bumped into a hitch where the download stops at only 7% and says I should switch from WiFi to my data to download. Either way, it still doesn't work, the download stays at 7%. Just got a Lumia 640 xl ds on Lumia denim 8.1 upgrade 2.

That's not the last of it. The initial space I had for the update was about 2.65GB but by that 7%, the space had shrunk to 1.17GB and I was wondering what was being downloaded when the download is stuck at 7%.

Help!! Anyone...? Now that I'm not downloading, the space remaining on the phone isn't reducing, hasn't shrunk and I don't understand how the space on the phone is so small. Glad it hasn't affected the phones functioning...

delete some stuff, maps,move apps to sd, it took a while for me today and i've faced same problems

How do you uninstall maps? I'd removed the here maps already except for the Windows maps that came with the phone....?
