W10P, music still play when app is closed

I have 2 different apps for play radio and one to play music. All 3 of them keep playing when I turn off the apps. To turn off the sound I need to re-open the app and press stop.

I have been looking all over the options of the phone (Lumia 950) to stop this behavior. And I could not find information on the net.

I too don't understand this concept. You have to install one of the "stop the music" apps from store, with it you can kill music or stream anytime.

I believe its the way Windows Phone functions. You're killing the app's UI, but you aren't killing it's audio process. It doesn't make sense to me from a UX standpoint, but I understand how they're separate technically.
