Connected headset not giving any sound?

i am using lumia more than a year i will hear the sounds from my headset by fully connected .....but when i hear songs in my headset now its hearing so clearly ....i can only hear the sound clearly only by inserting my headphone halfly (just placing the headphone on phone lightly).....
