How do I use money from a windows gift card for apps and games on my 1520?

I bought a 15 euro gift card for my phone because I can't use any of the other payment methods. I redeemed it in the store on my phone. But when I try to buy an app I just get the 3 standard payment options, no mention of the 15 euros that are supposedly on my account. What is this bs? How do I actually use the money I payed for?

Credits are on your Microsoft Account, or should be... And that should be set to the option. If you don't see it there should be a link to change the payment method.
