how do i retrieve my product key to reactivate windows

i bought windows 8 and then upgraded to windows 10. A few days ago i upgraded my computers processor and motherboard and now windows tells me to activate windows. I bought windows 8 a long time ago and no longer have my product key. How do i retrieve my product key to then reactivate windows.
