Why won't Microsoft accept my password reset code?

[Windows Central Question]

I have forgotten the password to my home PC (Windows 10) - so it has told me to reset the password using a link.
I have used this link, put in all the information it needs, and when I type in the verification code - it seems to freeze. I can't cancel and I can't press next.

I have tried this 4/5 times now as I need to access my PC but I'm at a stalemate!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I don't have the answer sadly, and I just sent an email to Microsoft about it. Just wanted to let you know you're not the only having the problem.

try getting a new code maybe?
