how do i turn my app updates on automatically on a surface?

I am trying to update apps but to find out I have to hear from my husband or get a text. I looked on the site and there is no option from settings to apps to updates to yes.

open the store app, go to settings > Select "update apps automatically when I'm on wifi" to on
