Reverting from windows 10 to 8.1 on Lumia 640 XL

I have just upgraded to Windows 10 and wish I hadn't. The voice recognition on my Lumia 640 has disappeared and that is the feature I use most. Apparently this is because I had my phone set to UK English before I upgraded. I have tried to change to US English as a solution but there is still no little microphone on my keyboard. It seems the best solution for me would be to revert to Windows 8.1, which was working just fine. How do I do this?

You can do this very easily. Just download and install Windows Device Recovery Tool from here. Connect your 640XL to your PC and open the tool so that it can detect it. From there, you will choose to download and install the firmware and software.

You will lose everything on the phone though, just be aware of this before you use WDRT.
