Why cant I delete a downloaded background

[Windows Central Question]

I downloaded a Christmas flashing bulbs for desktop off downloads.com for free and it downloaded straight to my desktop leaving me w ith no way to delete it or close. When I click on it on downloads to delete it says I cannot delete without closing it but cant find where on my pc to close it. Where do I find it to close it and delete the background?

Hi Welcome to Windows Central! After you choose another desktop theme, you should be able to delete the theme. If you need more help, please join the forum.
