Groups in the people hub

[Windows Central Question]

I have Groups in my people hub which I can see on my PC and when I log on to my outlook account. They used to sync also with my Lumia 640 but they no longer appear. They were used for sending batch sms or emails directly from my phone which I can no longer do. Help

If you select them from the people hub first, you can message or email them. But you can't select them in the messaging app or Outlook. I dunno why, doesn't make sense. But at least you can still use them.
