Cannot update past 14926

[Windows Central Question]

I have not been able to update my Icon past build 14926 for a long time. The bugs are finally too much to bear and im sick of things not working. When I check for updates I get this error: 0x8024800a I have tried 2 hard resets, soft reset and always get the same error. When I search online for solutions all I get are windows 7 solutions (which all pertain to registry fixes) which I cant access on W10M. I am at my wits end. I cant afford to get rid of the phone and go to android. Please help! I have tried setting the phone up as a new phone as well after hard reset. I am resetting through settings, about, reset your phone.

Sincere question: if this phone is your only daily driver, why not remain on the production build?

I like the slow ring and its usually very stable, including the build I'm on. However I'm having issues with messaging. I'd like to update since many builds since mine have included bug fixes. I would like to get those fixes. Can you offer any help?

I see. According to Windows Central, the latest slow ring update for Mobile is build 14965. You could try doing a soft reset and checking for updates.

Unfortunately, I have lost touch with Windows 10 Mobile for a while now. Maybe someone else will be able to help.
