I lost my outlook contacts... People app every time saying attention required on outlook account n not able to sync....help me to catch my contacts

On the web, contacts are managed through people.live.com which has been down for a few days. It would appear the people app also connects to this service as your thread is not the first I have come across in regards to missing contacts.
